We are a team of consultants with expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis

We are committed to improving the lives of individuals with special needs by teaching skills that result in greater independence and inclusion, and a more enriched quality of life. We strive to achieve this through individualized, evidence-based and data-driven programming founded upon the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.

What is Applied Behavior Analysis?

"Applied Behavior Analysis is the science in which procedures derived from the principles of behavior are systematically applied to improve socially significant behavior to a meaningful degree and to demonstrate experimentally that the procedures employed were responsible for the improvement in behavior."

From Cooper, Heron, and Heward (2007, p.3)

What does “evidence based” mean?

It means we promote the use of practices that have been proven to be effective, and then we continuously evaluate our interventions to ensure success.

Our Services

We work to establish evidence-based programming, rooted in data-driven practices. Our competency-based trainings seek to build the capacity of teams to establish effective PBIS practices and behavior RTI. Our functional behavioral assessment services are the foundation for teaching at-risk youth replacement skills and functional communication.

Functional Behavior Assessments +

Prior to recommending interventions designed to reduce challenging behavior, we conduct a functional behavior assessment, which can result in the least restrictive, yet most effective, interventions. The goal of a functional behavior assessment is to identify skills that the individual lacks (which often reflect problem behaviors), and provide function-based interventions that aim to teach the individual more appropriate and efficient skills (behaviors) that eventually reduce the need to use maladaptive behaviors.

Individualized behavior and treatment plans +

We develop plans that are individually tailored and oriented towards teaching functional skills. Our plans are designed to be practical and user-friendly, and often include a “short-hand” version that can be portable and accessible as team members learn new, more effective ways to interact with individuals in need.

We build programs and lesson plans derived from a variety of skill-based assessment tools that help guide and prioritize critical skills to teach. We provide comprehensive support in teaching individuals language and functional communication, functional living skills, and social skills. We help develop such program supports as picture activity schedules, communication systems, functional activities, data collection systems, and motivational systems.

Consultation to Families and Residential Settings +

Our team of BCBA consultants have extensive experience working with special needs children and adults within family and residential settings. We work with families and support staff to deliver practical and sustainable programming to meet the needs of not only our clients but the system at large.

Classroom and school-wide positive behavior supports (PBIS/Behavior RTI) +

We provide best-practice, multi-tiered training and support to help schools create a positive and productive educational culture.

Competency-based Staff Training & Workshops +

We are passionate about building the capacity of teams and organizations to effectively execute best-practice interventions. Our workshops and trainings cover such topics as evidence-based practices within multi-tiered systems of support, interventions for ADHD and students identified with emotional disturbance, effective teaching methods for children diagnosed with autism, and functional behavior assessments.
